Day 1 – Sunday
Zurich – Maienfeld – Chur (120 km)
Meeting point: Zurich city center – Hauptbahnhof Zurich Central Station at 09:30am (the same meeting point as goEUgo – Blue Line tour on the same day)
Our tour begins at the Zurich Cathedral, crossing the Limmat River, passing by the City Hall, Parade Square, and the famous bustling Bahnhofstrasse. After lunch, we will drive to the birthplace of the animated character Heidi – Maienfeld. Upon arrival, you will have free time to explore the town or visit Heidi’s house at your own expense. We will stay overnight in Chur or a neighboring city.

Day 2 – Monday
Chur – Bellinzona – Locarno – Brig (248 km)
The three medieval castles in Bellinzona were registered as a World Heritage site in 2000. Let’s take a look at the largest of these, the Grand Castle, and the beautiful town. There are many exquisite small shops, cobblestone streets, wrought iron balconies, and small restaurants below the castle. After lunch, move towards to Locarno, where holds international film festivals every August. We will visit the famous Piazza Grande, one of the largest open-air movie screening venues in the world. After that, guests can take cable car to the sacred Mount Madonna del Sasso, where is regarded as the place of apparition of the Virgin Mary as well as the landmark of Locarno (optional, at own expenses).

Day 3 – Tuesday
Brig – Zermatt – Matterhorn – Montreux (178 km)
Zermatt, also known as the “smoke-free city,” has only one means of transportation to enter the town, which is by electric tram (complimentary ticket provided). The famous Swiss triangular chocolate logo, the Matterhorn, is right in front of you as you enter the city. Matterhorn (optional, at own expenses) Transport by cable car to Matterhorn. Reach the summit and admire the 38 alpine giants as well as 14 glaciers. Discover the world’s highest ice palace and be awestruck by the beautiful handmade sculptures created in the eternal ice. Or take cable car to Mount Gornergrat, at the superb 360°viewing platform, you are allowed to catch all-round scenery of Matterhorn, the gorgeous high peaks of Alps and grand glacier. Those who love hiking can take 5-minute walking to Riffelsee Lake at the transfer station: Rotenboden to take photos of the famous Matterhorn reflection. Accommodation will be provided in a nearby hotel in Montreux.

Day 4 – Wednesday
Montreux – Lausanne – Geneva – Nyon (161 km)
The Chillon Castle, an elegant ancient castle between Lake Geneva and steep mountains, is both a military fortress and a residence for nobles. The small town of Lausanne has the reputation of being the Olympic City, and at the Olympic Center (at own expense) you can experience the most exciting moments of past Olympic Games. Then head to Geneva, the “City of Peace,” which is not only the location of the European headquarters of the United Nations but also the birthplace of the Red Cross. Accommodation will be provided in a nearby city in Nyon.

Day 5 – Thursday
Nyon – Gruyères – Broc – Bern (185 km)
Gruyères, a 13th-century castle, stands tall in the medieval town and is clearly visible from near and far. Visit the legendary Gruyères Cheese Factory (at your own expense) and indulge in the fragrance and deliciousness of the cheese. Then we will visit the Nestle Chocolate Factory (at own expense) to taste the freshest Swiss chocolate. In the afternoon, we will arrive at the “Swiss capital” Bern, where we will visit landmark sites in the city center, such as the magnificent Swiss Federal Parliament Building, the Zytglogge Clock Tower built to commemorate Berthold V, and the historic buildings preserved since the 16th century. We will spend the night near Bern.

Day 6 – Friday
Bern – Lauterbrunnen – Jungfrau – Grindelwald – Bern (104 km)
Visit the waterfall town of Lauterbrunnen where more than 70 waterfalls cascade down from cliffs. Enjoy the stunning views of the highlands before heading to the top of Europe – Jungfrau (at own expense). Take the train to the transfer station and then switch to the cogwheel train to reach the highest train station in Europe, where you can visit the Jungfrau, covered in snow all-year-round. The panoramic views of the Alps are breathtaking. After that, you’ll take the train downhill to Grindelwald, so that you can enjoy the stunning views of Jungfrau from another perspective. Arriving at Grindelwald, you can find out that it is just like a beautiful landscape canvas among the mountains. You’ll have some free time for leisure here before sending back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 7 – Saturday
Bern – Interlaken – Brienz – Lucerne – Zurich (225 km)
Enjoying the stunning nature scenes in Switzerland by travelling along the lakesides. Lake Brienz appears in various scenes of the Korean Netflix series «Crash Landing on You», which made it famous. You can choose to take cruise on Lake Brienz (optional, at your own expenses) The turquoise Lake Brienz are set amid the spectacular mountain scenery of the Bernese Oberland. You’ll be picked up at Brienz Ferry Terminal, then transfer to Lucerne. Lucerne, where you can visit the Lion Monument, which honors the Swiss national loyalty, bravery, and loyalty spirit carved on the cliff, and walk along the quaint old streets filled with exquisite boutiques, where you can buy authentic Swiss chocolates and souvenirs. At the same time, you can go to famous watch shops to choose Swiss watches.
The tour will end in Lucerne at 19:00 (can connect to the Green Line or Blue Line). Then the bus will drive to the “Zurich train station” (Note: there is no accommodation tonight!
